Our story

The gap we kept seeing

Every freight forwarding company we worked with had the same stack: Excel for jobs, an accounting tool for invoices, WhatsApp for client updates, and an accountant compiling everything manually at quarter end. And they all said the same thing: "We know this doesn't work, but there's nothing built for us that isn't either too expensive or too complex."

FlowDeck is our answer. Not an ERP. Not accounting software adapted for freight. A purpose-built operations platform that runs exactly the way an independent freight forwarder works — from the first enquiry to the final accounting export.

The established freight ERP providers — CargoWise, Magaya, Descartes — serve large brokers with 100+ staff and enterprise budgets. That is not our customer.

Our customer

An independent freight forwarder with 5–50 staff. Often a member of an international freight network. Handles import, export, sea, air, and road freight. Invoices in 2–3 currencies. Files VAT or GST quarterly. Currently running everything on Excel, an accounting tool, and WhatsApp — because there has never been a sensible alternative priced for their size.

FlowDeck is priced for that company, built for that workflow, and designed to be live the same day they sign up. It exports to whatever accounting software they already use — QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or TallyPrime. Nothing changes in their accounting stack. Everything changes in their operations desk.
